The Beyond Launch video (in versions ranging from 1:30 to 15 seconds) is a good one to use.
You can also consider using the BCG Purpose video which has a 2 min and 30 second version.
You should let your regional or business area branding manager know first about your project to start a discussion on needs, output & resources.
To understand your goals and to match the best resources (internal and/or external) based on concept, content and capacity, please consider the following questions:
For local-only or internal initiatives, having review and sign-off of your regional or business area branding manager of the concept/project plan and final output is required.
If the intent is to share a video on social media or other globally or broadly accessible external platforms, it is also necessary to have the oversight/awareness/review of your regional and global recruiting & digital marketing teams. The most important stages to have this review are:
These are key moments in creative development, when input can still be utilized.
AVOID: Sending completed products, that have not had any regional or global awareness or review, for “approval.” At this point, there is no opportunity for constructive input and you put approvers in a difficult position, as we do not want to waste time or resources, but also do not want off-brand or brand-damaging output.
Prices and production times vary widely depending on complexity, location, and other factors.
For professionally shot & edited ~3 min video using typical external vendors:
However, there may be opportunity for cost savings and even ‘free’ videos with less stringent quality requirements by sourcing videos from BCGers using iCIMS Video Studio or from their phones, and leveraging the new Papirfly video template to do simple, brand-approved post-production and branding.
Aha, so you’re interested now, eh?? Well, it doesn’t exist yet, it’s in development, but when ready, it will enable you to upload 1 or more videos, and some light editing. You’ll be able to add
in a pre-approved manner and submit video for approval through the Papirfly platform. Neat-o!
We’re working on training regional and business area leads/admins to help support this better. For now, start by letting your branding managers know about your interest and what you are trying to accomplish and we’ll go from there!
The global careers site is not “up-for-grabs” to add videos, but there is plenty of flexibility for the Local Landing Pages and for Events.
If you do have a video already complete that you think is appropriate for the local pages, let Emma Heerah and Jordan Benard know what you are hoping for.
If you want to add employee videos to the pop-up video libraries or to the job description library, those are sources from the iCIMS Video Studio – see FAQ above.
If you have something you feel is value-add for global site, please reach out to Ben Kynaston to suggest.
